I will be working on this for the rest of my life! What a commitment!
Lord, Help me do the best that I can, and keep me sane.

Someday, I’m going to visit the Homeland.
I really don’t know if I am Irish, but I have a lot of the Irish features: and even if I’m not, I’ll be Irish by my name sake then (Erin = Gaelic for Ireland)!
Since I was in high school, one thing we always did was volunteer at the mens homeless shelter. After graduating, I still continued to donate my time and goods to them, but after I got married, I started to slip (mainly because we were/are tight on money, I don’t drive and our bus fair is ungodly high).
Over Christmas, I baked several dozen cookies for the men: but I’m weird, I don’t like to donate or volunteer around Christmas. Every one else thinks of these men around Christmas… and then forgets them shortly afterwords. Rather, I volunteer and donate other times of the year. Some one needs to help these men, and maybe when people see me doing it, they too will be inspired to help in non-Christmas seasons.
