“Hi. My name’s Amanda. and I’m an addict. It’s been 2 years and 97 days since my last Big Mac. It was awful; I hit rock bottom. I was going 5 times a day for my fix. It cost my my relationship with my children. They can’t even look at me anymore.”
Okay, so I was never an addict.
And I stopped eating the burgers LONG before then.
But I’ve still given it up, and it’s been about 2-4 years.
It’s so great.
Everyone should do it.
I gave up cable when I was 17 and at 21 haven’t gotten it since.
Once you start, you won’t ever go back.
Also, if anyone’s interested there’s this thing called “TV-B-Gone”. You point the mini-remote keychain at ANY tv and it will turn off within 60 seconds.
I could have used it at the train station a few days ago, but alas, I have not purchased one yet.
