I make stuffed animals out of old clothes for myself and my friends. I call them Buffins. This one’s name is Guy and I made him for Lindsey for her birthday. You can’t tell but he has long, floppy legs.
I stuff them with dried lentils because they’re soft and more friendly than stuffing. I use yarn to stuff some softer parts, ears and limbs. I design them individually for who I’m making them for. I’m planning on making a lot this summer and selling them at local craft festivals.
Writing.
I write stream of consciousness. It’s extremely therapeutic. Seeing myself as a writer makes me happy.
