Last night I drove for about three hours, and I didn’t freak out or have any major incidents. I’m amazed at how well I did considering the fact that I haven’t driven for so long.
I’m now going to be volunteering as a foal sitter at the New Bolton Center, which is about an hour away from where I’m living, so I have to get comfortable with driving.

How I did it: I heard about a foal sitting program at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center. All I had to do was call a number and I got signed up to volunteer with them!I'll be literally sitting with foals, calves, and other newborn farm animals in their NICU unit! I'm incredibly excited to have the opportunity to help save these animals and do something so unique and wonderful. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My issue with eating fruit had always been that it would go bad before I ate it all and then I wouldn't visit the grocery store for a while to restock. To fix this issue I bought a lot of dried fruit and fruits that won't go bad for awhile such as clementines. Then, whenever I wanted a snack, I reached for some fruit instead of junk food. How I did it: I wanted every goal to be something that I knew I wouldn't change my mind about or get bored of after a while. This meant it took me a whole month to compound my life list. I added goals that I had before and forgot about as well as inspirations from this website and other aspects of my life. Read how I did it…

I went exercising today with two friends for a little under two hours. It felt great! We plan on going together on Tuesdays and Thursdays from now on.
I want to build up my endurance and strength so I can run a marathon or take a hiking trip in the Grand Canyon or in the mountains.
I don’t know if this will work, but starting today I’m going to record in my journal 5 things about each day that made it unique.
I feel like even though my schedule varies (I don’t have the same classes every day, I work some days but not others) the events inside those schedules aren’t significantly different. For instance, while the content of my Genetics class may change, I still spend every lecture in my seat taking notes. My job varies day to day, but there’s still a certain monotony to it. Living with my boyfriend has dramatically reduced the spontaneity of our relationship, unfortunately.
Maybe my life hasn’t become a series of routines, and by forcing myself to pay attention to what’s changing day to day I’ll finally see that. If not, it should at least give me direction on how to change my life to make it contrast more.
I also plan to try and incorporate my goals of trying more new things and having more adventures to accomplish this.
