My boys are playing flag football this year. Second year for one, first for the other. My second year guy smashed up his knee pretty good, wound up getting 4 stiches and had to sit out most of the season. Huge bummer since this is his sport. Baseball’s the other one’s sport. He’s been going to practice, sitting on the sidelines watching, only to turn to me and grumble about this, that or the other thing. Truth is, the coach’s kid really is a ball hog. “Why do you think the coach coaches?” I asked him. “I don’t know, because they want their kid to play the most?” He shrugged. Pretty much so, dude. Well, I got to thinking, his dad/my husband isn’t able to coach (long story but my avatar might give you a clue) but that doesn’t stop me. It’s only a few weeks from September – October. So…. I want to learn football and then, coach. Weeeeeehaw.

According to their website: http://www.twinsdays.org/, Twin Days does happen each year. They have pictures up now of the one they had at the beginning of August this year (2006). Check out the entries over at places under Twinsburg, Ohio or their website. Maybe I’ll see you there!
