It’s like Christamas every week!
Opening your box and not knowing what you’re going to get…..a small pleasure, but fun ~ it makes you appreciate the food you have and how you’re going to use it, instead of trudging round a supermarket with a trolley and a glazed-over expression, uninspired by the perfectly shaped, clean, plastic wrapped, factory-farmed produce. Yuk!
In fact, avoid the large supermarkets altogether and support organic box schemes, local small businesses and farmers’ markets.
Start with a vegetable box…..I’ve been doing it for ten years and I still ejoy and appreciate it!

It is really worth the effort to become animal-free. I have really developed my desire to respect all sentient beings, the environment and my own body. I do not want to be a part of the killing of animals, the destruction of the planet or damaging my body with the consumption of animal fats/products.
There are SO may delcious recipes for vegetables, rice, beans, pulses, fruit, cakes, etc. you will never feel ‘deprived’ ~ on the contrary, if you eat a varied, imaginativen and nutritious vegan diet it will be a joy!
