The goal used to be ‘lost 50 pounds’, but I changed it to 15.
Ultimately, I want to lose 50. but 15 pounds seems like something that I can do. The 50 seems so overwhelming.
So I want to lost 15 pounds by July 17th. Let’s see how it goes with this approach, as the old one sure didn’t work.

I made a list of what I wanted in a new job. And I got that job.
Turns out, I didn’t have all the right criteria.
I like my new job, and I’m making more money. But I ultimately still want to work with kids. And/or I want to work part-time so that I have more time to spend with my daughter. I feel like I never see her, and spending time with her is my favorit thing to do in all the world.
I need to find work that really makes me happy – if I can’t just quit working to be with the baby.
I’m nervous about it, but I have this feeling that something is going to work itself out for us so that I can have more time and more joy in my life.
