stop thinking too much
This is something huge : Never sure, always questioning and doubting 2 months ago

As long as I remember I’ve been thinking too much. Makes me doubt on any decision I have to make. When I’m sure and someone brings out something else then it makes me question my decision and the circle starts all over again. I never saw it as a problem but now I do. I question about life, love and everything in general. Things that there’s no answer I keep tormenting myself to find one. It affects my love life as I always question my partner’s behaviors and actions and after spending all my time thinking I question my own feelings. I guess it doesn’t allow me to just be free and live the present moment. I will focus on anything that bothers me (even small things) and make it bigger and over analyze anything and everything. Got me wondering if I’m crazy and what’s wrong with me. Got me googleing the net for solutions and questioning myself and evrtyhing about me. It’s an never-ending cycle. Sometimes, I literally have to yell at myself and say “stop it, what good am I doing to me” and after I feel better until I restart. I feel like I don’t let myself to feel and question “how do I feel” and “how am I supposed to feel”. I feel like I don’t even know what I want, who I am, what do I enjoy and I have to keep looking and questioning. Basically, I am never sure !

I decided to consult. As I need to live my life fully and be more confident and stop over-analyzing and worrying (what if this, what if that). I need to understand that there’s no solution to everything and that nothing is or will ever be perfect.

I hope that it will work. All i know is that the first step is to aknowledge that we have a problem and to find ways to get better.

Maybe it’s just a problem of self-confidence, maybe it’s just simple. Well, I’ve been over-analyzing what it could be for too long and now taking actions.

Going tonight for my first consult. I’ll keep you guys posted on my road to let myself be free.



Start my own business
I want to be my own boss and buid something 10 months ago

Working for others is not as fulfilling as working for yourself.
I want to be able to start something, build it up and watch it grow.
I have so many ideas in mind that I’m stuck at that point : Where to start. One thing I know is that I don’t see myself working for others for the rest of my life and I need to take risks.



be more positive
Positive Journal 11 months ago

I started a daily journal where I only write about the best parts of my day. Even if I have a bad day, I have to find all the pleasant events and write them down. If I can keep it up, by the end of the year, when I’ll read my journal I’ll see how positive the year went and how wonderful things and happy moments happened.

This is really different from any journal I’ve had.
I like to write down in order to vent out any stress or frustrations or anything bothering me. It always makes me feel good at that moment, but reading back those journals, it seems as if nothing good happens.

So how about a positive journal ! Try it, not easy when you really have a bad day but it’s therapeutic and forces you to point out positiveness.

Well, I actually ended up just doing it without paying.
Just got really fed up and now it’s done with some help.
I’m happy about this, should have done it a while ago

I'm paying student paint job to do it 19 months ago

i just do not have the strength nor the time to do this. So I decided that for the right price I’ll pay someone to do it. I’m getting it done this summer. I already have my contract, i just need to pick a day for them to come.
It’s better for me to pay someone to do it rather than complain about the kitchen and hating longer than I already have.



get a massage
Hmmmm 19 months ago

I was so stressed from work that my neck and shoulders were hurting for weeks. I thought I pulled something cuz it was hurting so much. My Bf tried to massage me in order to get rid of the pain that it barely worked and I almost cried of pain. 2 weeks ago, I got a massage from a specialist and right after I felt renewed. Since then, my neck and my shoulders are cured ! I feel amazing.

Still working on it 19 months ago

I just put braces on in order to fix my teeth. This will help improve my confidence by smiling even more than I actually do and believing that I look good (I know I do but I’ll look better) ;o)

I also lost weight recently but still don’t feel amazing. Plan on toning up instead of losing weight in order to keep some curves.

Ok, I know, all this is only the outside. But for now it’s easier to work on that and it helps on the inside. I’ll focus on the inside gradually and with time.

I've got them since last Wednesday 19 months ago

The first 2 days were not easy. I could feel the braces pulling my teeth and I could just drink soup ! The only thing I wish I did was doing this a while ago so that they would be perfect or close to perfection today ! This a the new step to enhancing my inner beauty by giving me more confidence and believing that I have a great smile. I’m in my late 20s and I can tell you that it’s never too late ! 2 years will pass fast and I’ll be able to take pictures with all my teeth showing.
BTW, I have regular braces on, no invisalign because my case is special but my ortho put transparent boxes on my 4-5 middle up teeth so that when I smile you barely see the braces (and it works, alot of people don’t notice)

Getting them by the end of May 20 months ago

Kept my promise !
I’m getting them soon and I will have to operate on my jaw because the upper part is not wide enough. Finally I’ll have the pretty smile I deserve. I will post pics soon For before and after.



Get a bikini worthy body
I want this by this summer 20 months ago

I already lost 15 pounds since the beginning of the year. Now all is left is to lose another 10 pounds and tone up.
I’m starting on May 19th and I want to get it by July 19th. I think in 2 intensive months I will get it.

I lost 15 pounds in barely 2 months 20 months ago

It was one of my goals. I wanted to lose weight but keep it off. I started by doing spinning classes at the gym about twice a week and I would go other days just to do cardio. I also did some tae bo (Billy Blanks) dvd’s at home the days I didn’t feel like going to the gym. And I portion reduced a little bit more than usual by eating more veggies. I don’t believe in dieting nor will I ever !
Spinning classes are tough but it makes the fat melt and you see results within 2 weeks if you go twice a week. I look better but most of all feel better. I still want to lose another 10 pounds but now I want to focus more on toning (weight training). I’ll switch this goal for “having a bikini body by this summer”, something I never had in my life. :o)
It’s crazy how 10-15 pounds looks when you see that you dropped 2 sizes or even more!

I'm shopping for a specialist 23 months ago

I saw a friend of a friend who wore braces and had them just taken off and her teeth were awesome. It inspires me to see people in their near 30’s getting their teeth fixed. It motivates me to get it done instead of restrain on smiling on pictures. So I went to see some specialists, it will cost me a lot but the confidence you gain and beautiful you deserve to have is just about 2 years away.
So that’s it, this year is the year even if I have to be in debt for it.

I've never thought I would feel this way 23 months ago

I go to the gym next to work which just opened a month ago so it’s brand new. I’ve worked out before but the one next to my house and there’s a huge difference. I found that working out downtown, next to work motivated you more. Ok, yeah people are in a better shape but that motivates you to push even more and you can see that people are serious about it. I added spinning classes to my subscription ! If you’ve never done it, DO IT ! There is no other cardio activity that will make you sweat and want for more. At first it was so hard but after 2 times you get way better at it and can see changes in your cardio and your body.
I never loved working out at the gym but spinning got me coming for more and I feel like I could just go everyday.

It’s extremely important to find a gym that you actually love : looks good, clean alot of services and that’s welcoming.

Now I just need to see a trainer once a month to do a progran and update it every month. It will cost more but the benefits will be great. I don’t want this to be a phase and fade out. I really want the gym to be part of my life which is way different view than how I was thinking before. It’s not about losing weight, it’s about living a healthier life and maintaining it forever and stop the yoyo. That’s the only way to get fit and stay fit.

I registered 2 years ago

I registered and plan to go to the gym during the Holiday season and keep it up at least 3 times a week.
I plan on focusing a lot on cardio (by doing the spinning classes) and weight training. First step is done now I just have to focus on a time of day where it’s better for me do train and keep it up.

It's been a year 2 years ago

It’s been a year since I haven’t gone to a gym. I use to go and took on a personal trainer that I would see on a regular basis. Then I realized that I didn’t need to see her so often because she wasn’t pushing me enough and I felt like I was wasting my money so I stopped paying for her and continued briefly on my own. The problem is that the only difference was that I would go because I knew that when I met her and hadn’t gone to the gym for at least 2-3 times a week she would get on my case. It’s like paying for someone to reprimand you.
Now I want to go back but I don’t have the motivation and I don’t want to pay for a trainer again !

I needed to because I was going for a trip to Cuba so I needed sunglasses. They actually don’t look bad.

Just came back from one week all inclusive trip to Cuba 2 years ago

This was my first time taking a plane other than for work.
One week away in another country is very different than spent home.
It felt so good to not cook, clean, work and worry for an entire week. To just relax and spend days at the beach is awesome.
I have to give that gift to myself at least once a year!
It’s so worth it

I saw a special in the paper for the new Ipod Nano and I bought it.
I really like it and I get to listen to music and some Posdcasts whenever I want to. I’s worth it.



buy a bike
Bought it today 2 years ago

I’m so happy
I was looking for sales and I went to a specialty bike store and saved 100$ on my bike. It’s silver and hybrid.
I love it and can’t wait to buy an helmet so that I can safely bike ride. I havent biked in years, it’s going to be a way for me to stay in shape and also to relax while looking at the nice fall scenery.
