I won’t be able to commence training until this September, because I reside in the middle of nowhere, with no dojo’s, and no possibility of getting to one. I have found a number of TKD and shotokan dojos close to my university, and will be beginning with a novice white belt in the fall. Until then, I am training and conditioning in order to get into optimal shape for katas and sparring in September. Do you have any advice on what I should focus on?

I have been going through hard time in my life, recently, and came across an unlikely friend. It seemed ironic and meaningful that while at this person’s home, I asked to borrow some novels, as I would be unable to visit a library within the next few weeks. One of the books my friend quietly tucked into my back was this: Random Acts of Kindness by the Editors of Conari Press. Having finished the book in a few hours, I promptly calle back my friend to thank him for the book, and have begun following the novel’s advice. Yesterday was the first time I had no second thoughts about donating money I could not afford at a pharmacy, and today, I stopped by my job to check if my boss needed any extra-help today, for free, of course. The book made me realize that even the smallest acts of kindness make a difference in the lives of others. I hope at least one other person reads it and gets something from it. Good luck.
LIfe is a web of intertwined souls which collide at the most unexpected points. WHen you stop fighting the web and go with the natural order of things, everything falls into place. The nature of life is harmony, the motivation is hypocricy. we are never fully satistifed, but that is the precise thing whic keeps us going and traveling through new experiences until we find the one precise object which will keep us fulfilled throughout the rest of our lives. We must find our passion. Be it in another person, in our job, in an idea, when we find passion, we make a difference in this web, for we are no longer just flowing with it, but we are making it easier for others to travel. That is the meaning of life. To grow and help all others grow through loving what you do and who you are, and then eventually who others may be.
