i realize that this really isnt the most efficent way to learn from the bible. i was more focused on reading enough than what i was really reading. instead i want to delve deeper into it, even if that means i dont read every single verse (atleast not for awhile).

How I did it: with my new job i get great travel benefits. within the last month i have visited a friend in Knoxville TN, a friend in Charleston SC, and a friend in Chicago IL. i plan on keeping this up, probably not every month but atleast a few times a year. and the more i travel - the more people i will meet. and then i will have more people to visit :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: its just knowing on the inside that no matter what happens today, everything is still good. God is still in control. you have a purpose even if you dont know what it is. it's never too late. there will be ups and downs but remembering the big picture is the important thing. How I did it: signed up for a surf camp, spent a week learning about the waves, the boards, and watching other people do it. Then it just took a lot of practice (and muscle strengthening). I'm still super sore but it was totally worth it. Read how I did it…

i talked to my grandpa about it. i’m not sure he understands what it means to be saved but i’m going to see him again in about a month so i’ll bring it up again. it was really hard but i’m glad i did. even though i dont think he understans what i’m trying to tell him it definitely brought us closer together.
i went to the Habitat for Humanity meeting and learned about everything. but they only work on houses while i’m at work. i’ve just got to find the time to go do it.
