When we lived in Michigan we had the pleasure of visiting Mackinac Island several times. I loved everything about it… the quaint little shops, the horses and buggies, the Grand Hotel. It’s beauty and charm make it one of my favorite places to visit. We never had the privilege of staying overnight on the Island but we had wonderful accomodations just over the bridge on the Upper Peninsula. The best thing about being there was waking up to the sun rising over the Great Lakes and watching the swans… wonderful memories.
I would love to be able to send every child in Foster Care to Disneyland/world. It’s a magical place that every child should get to visit at least once and I know that most foster families could never afford to go, so I would like to send them for free.
I realize that this may not be the type of Non-Profit Organization that changes the world, but it could change the world for one child.
