I recently got a tribal band on my wrist, the latest of 7 tattoos (with more to come!). So far it’s been the most painful place – though I’m yet to get my ribs done – and it was swollen to twice it’s normal size for 2 days after having it done, but I love it and that’s all that matters. If it’s something you’re passionate about, definately worth doing.

I go through phases with this. I can stop biting my nails for ages, but the second one of them breaks/splits/tears I chew them all off and go back to regular chewing.
When I don’t chew I still have a habit of putting my fingers in my mouth, and as a result have paper thin nails that peel and tear constantly.
Any tips on how to get my nails stronger?
This is one of the hardest things for me. My husband works away (5 on 5 off) so I spend 5 days cleaning then he comes home and I slack off for 5 days. When he leaves again the house is a pigsty so I spend 5 days cleaning again… and so it continues.
We have people coming to stay this break, so that’s my incentive to really clean the house… and I mean really clean it. After that I just have to figure out how to keep it clean.
