I’ve met a lot of pretty famous people—and by that I mean mostly “famous” authors, because I’m a reader (and writer) first and foremost. Rowling was one of the nicest and, well, the most famous, though I met her years ago when she was first picking up momentum in the book world, and only for a minute or two at that. By all means, go for it, although it’s a lot more difficult to get a hold of her now that she’s not touring; she’s just doing events, as far as I’ve heard. Good luck!

It’s amazing how much of an effect on people reading has: no matter if it’s fiction or nonfiction, fantasy, literature, sci-fi or My Dog Spot, people of every age can learn so much from reading. If I could do nothing else but read for the rest of my life, I really think I’d be happy. This is so worthwhile. Go everyone!
