Lose 70 pounds
18 to go 3 years ago

When I started off four and a half months ago, I was determined, but not very sure if the determination would last. But now, 50 pounds lighter, after sticking to a balanced diet & very regular exercise regime, I’ve proven to myself that it is humanly possible(for me) to lose weight. I suppose its all about how much one wants it. I’ve made efforts before, but gave up after the initial setbacks. This time, I was not willing to cheat myself and continue to abuse my body. Yes, people have noticed the difference, yes I’ve dropped 6 dress sizes, and all that jazz, but this stuff can’t beat the amount of pride I feel about gaining back control – control to say no, and the willingness to say yes to a healthy ‘lifestyle’. I suppose all weight issues involve giving up on oneself.

I am 22 pounds away from my first goal weight, and 32 away from my ultimate goal weight. I’m going to be realistic from now on, the weight came off easy when I was heavier…its now time for the real battle. Ahoy!

Once again, it sure as hell is worth it.

=)

Summary: Pounds lost : 52

Pounds left to reach this goal: 18
