A whole lot of balls in the air 7 hours ago

1) My BP got treacherously out of whack week before last. I measured it exactly 2 weeks ago and it was 213/135, deadly high. Of course my thought stream went into high gear and visualizations of anything from; a massive heart attack to being wheelchair bound with low mobility, losing my ability to play music, a will would be nice, being poor on social security, etc…... I started self medicating with an old BP medicine I know works although it also messes up some of my blood screen numbers…. and went to the doctor…. Now he has put me on 3 medications and the combo is working well for my BP….. new problem is intestinal gas…. yuck. Trying to solve it.. don;t know what to do.
2) work is ramping to a climax. big review in a couple of weeks. materials prepped and in for review…. tons of work.
3) My Monday night music finally got an uptick. An old friend has come back into my life and commits to accompanying me to go down to the open mic…. finally I’ll have a close acquaintance to hang out with.
4) son-in-law got laid off, right here at Christmas.

I'm a sissy 5 days ago

Started with the gusto of a downhill run…... feels like it’s all uphill now, though.

I am grateful 1 week ago

1) to have my job, even though I have issues with it. They are my issues. The job is worthwhile.
2) to my AA Group, collectively. Lots of very nice folks, many of whom have helped me over the past two years.
3) to God
4) to my doctor, for trying his best to keep me alive and healthy.
