There is only one comedy club where I live, and the age minimum there is 21. I guess it’s run by drunks or something.

Doing pretty well so far. What has really helped is saying the same prayer St. Augustine of Hippo uttered before he converted. It goes as, “Grant me chastity and continence, but not yet.” I find it to be particularly well because it makes the task seem much more within reach as opposed to just saying to one’s self, “It ends now!”, only to later view the goal as impossibly difficult as the slightest urge returns.

To have never known what masturbation was or the feelings that accompanied it. Ignorance truly is bliss. Anyway…Day 1. My goal is a week. (shudders)
