I don't like renting

Ok, so renting is good right now because every period over which I pay the rent the price of a house comes down by a similar amount (which is WAY better than paying a mortgage) BUT
I want to decorate a place to look nice and do the gardening growing veg n’ stuff. And live somewhere I really want to be!
