How I did it: I went to visit my friends in Ocean City at their college. I had just wrapped up my freshman year of college so I decided to get wild that weekend and do something exciting. How I did it: I joined Sparkpeople.com, a website that has millions of users where you can make your own page, write journal entries, post on message boards, track your food and exercise, etc. I began tracking my food on this site, checking my fat, protein, calories, sodium, and carbs. I drank 8 glasses of water per day, worked out...I have to admit, I slacked a lot while losing that 20 lbs but I did it Read how I did it…
At my heaviest, I weighed about 207 lbs. I am currently 187 lbs, 20 pounds lighter. It took me 6 months to lose that 20lbs because i kept going off my diet. The good thing is that I haven’t put on any weight since October 2008 and I’m going down. I am happy that I’ve remained below 200 for three months now. All I have to do is stick to eating write and working out. I don’t just want to be on a diet; I want to make a lifestyle change. I’ve always wanted to be athletic, actively participating in sports and all. I hope to be a runner, cyclist, and pick a sport to master.
