My surgery was in 2001. Even 7.5 years later, I have challenges and it is not always easy but it was/is worth it. It is not easy and anyone who says so, has probably not had the surgery.

The SF Marathon in 2007. I intend to run 2 in 2009 (2008 had me not running due to medical challenges)
Obama may not be the best ‘liberal’ around but he is a start—and many more are to come.
