Im almost ready to get rid of this goal, as these days I do quite well at keeping on track, despite the huge amount of stuff I now have to do!

How I did it: Reread my blog, entries on 43T, facebook, looked through photos from the year... and thought about what I was reading/seeing. Then I distilled from that what the key achievements/milestones were. Read how I did it…
Our beautiful son Oren has been entered to become the Face of the Baby Show 2009. Im very proud and touched by the support which we have had.
If you would like to support my son in his bid to become the Face of the Baby Show you can show your support here:

I know there are many people out there who do not approve of child modelling and the like, so if thats you thats fine – I understand your point of view, and in some cases I agree with it. If you dont like the idea that I would be happy for my son to be the face of a Baby Show, thats fine, just dont vote :o)
I have been grateful for a lot recently, and I am pro-actively trying to use it to moderate some of my lower moments.
Some recent gratitudes:
1. BashfulC booked me a hairdressers appointment for this Saturday. Ive been unable to do this for myself, as I keep seeing it as a luxury rather than a necessity, and so putting it off. Truth is Im really looking forward to it as a bit of pamper-time.
2. A nice family Saturday afternoon out in town – was very chilled out and low key and it was nice that BashfulC actively wanted to come with me rather than let me go on my own.
3. A friend agreeing to meet half way yesterday for a catch up rather than me travel to her house, just made the day a bit shorter for me, which was appreciated.
4. BashfulC going to get curry after the Chilli con carne incident on Sunday night
5. A lovely (albeit bit short!) woodland walk on Sunday
6. Willow continuing to be a contented baby, most of the time
7. A friend coming down the swine flu the day we were due to meet up – Im not grateful she has it of course, but SO grateful that my kids werent exposed to it.
8. Two friends making the effort to come and visit me and the kids on Monday, they spent most of the day here and it was nice to have the company – even if most of the time Im paranoid that I am now the most boring person in the world now that I have kids.
9. Willow is sleeping through the night… there are some minor blips (from both her and oren) but on the whole I can begin to see the end of the sleep-deprived road.
10. Nursery – Oren loves going once a week, and it gives me a bit of time with Willow, or if she is sleeping, to get stuff done.
11. BashfulC and I finally saw eye-to-eye on a very important matter regarding the business we are setting up. We have had some heated arguments about some aspects and it is good to feel like we have finally reached common ground.
