Hi everyone, a lot of people are asking me how I did it, so I’ll post a few things over the next few weeks. Here we go.
Gentle exercise for the first few months.
Dont go crazy and go to the gym everyday if you’ve never been before. Dont even start by going to the gym. Just walk. If you can walk for 5 or 10 minutes a day, do that for a week. Next week try 10 -15 minutes. keep going, every day. Maybe just walk around your block once in the morning, but do it every day. No matter what, make time for exercise. If you have to be somewhere when you usually walk, get up earlier and go then. Never miss a day.
Once you start looking foward to your walks, after a month or so, then take it to the gym.
Food tips
Distractions are the key. I used to read magazines, all the beautiful dresses inspired me to keep going, other people knit, scrapbook, journal, what ever it is, keep your hands and head busy.
Water Water Water
Drink as much water as you possibly can. Keep bottles everywhere and never leave the house without one. Drink at home, work, holidays, whatever.
