Mutant

This wonderful little island, only about 15 miles in diameter with a mountain some 5,000 feet high.

It’s a totally surreal island. Beaches on the bottom, all sorts of strange small villages on the way up where nobody speaks English, deserts along the road leading to a tropical rain forest on the top.

We climbed to the top – a combination of car and leg work – which was really worth it as up in the clouds, way, way, way up there, we were definitely closer to The Lord.

it simply means While we live, let us live!!

Live life with gusto, enjoy every fucking minute, be kind and considerate to absolutely every person, animal and thing that crosses your path and that includesthe earth.

Know yourself, be alone, suffer, be happy, mingle in a large crowd, get rich but first be poor, stand in the distance and watch the chaos, drink wine lots of wine!, eat only when ravenous, ride a motorcycle at night at a high rate of speed with the headlight off, break a bone, smell some flowers, spend time in a war zone, argue your point decisively, write a novel, shoot a gun, pick a worm up off the sidewalk lest it get stepped on, tune your television set between the channels for once, get in a fight and win, eat food you’ve hunted & killed yourself, break into an abandoned building at night, be shot at by someone who wants to kill you, feed stray animals, bring your lover flowers & chocolate just because you’re happy to see her, watch something die, witness the miracle of birth, write every day absolutely every fucking day and make love all night long.

While you’re doing all that don’t forget to take time every day to laugh. Laugh at yourself. Laugh at each other. Laugh at me. And especially laugh along with God, ‘cause I know he laughs at all of us, each and every one of us on the planet earth, every day.

And he especially laughs at me.

But life is all about HAVING FUN!

This was back in my punk days, but if it wasn’t for my job I’d still be doing fun stuff with my hair!!
