What do I need?

I know that this is going to be a big investment, so let’s figure out what I need.

Well, the obvious things are these:

1) Land. Exactly how much I need, and how much I can get, I have no idea.

2) Buildings. I know I’ll need a house, stables for the animals, a barn and a storehouse. Beyond that, I have no idea.

3) Equipment. There’s a lot of equipment that I’ll need to have, such as the shears for the sheep, tools to work the ground, move the hay and such, cleaning supplies and riding supplies for the horses, cleaning supplies for the dogs and sheep, ect.

4) There will be perishables and the like that need to be looked after. I will need feed for the animals, food for the rugrats, as well as water and medicines…

Can you guys think of anything else?

My dream ranch

My dream ranch is in the countryside, amid hills. I’d love to have a pack of dogs or wolf hybrids, and I would also love to have horses and sheep. Also, the plan is to, by then, have a wife and at least two kids running around, so yeah X3

Getting closer

I’ve been working on this goal in earnest since my last post. As the knighthood was deeply rooted in Christianity, I have been looking towards that relationship mostly. It is interesting to note that though knights were warriors of the highest order, they followed a religion of peace.

The real parallel I’ve found between knighthood and Christendom is that where knights often battled in a physical way, the Christian conducts his struggles in the hearts and minds of mankind.

For anyone who wishes to look further into this, perhaps they should look at Eph. 6:11-17.

Also, I would encourage those who wish to delve into the moral side of knighthood to ask about the benifits, both tactical and moral, of an agape-based life.
