YEs- it’s one more year before I’m done…so excited to check this off my list…its a huge accomplishment for someone not even wanting to go to college. :)
So the people working at this organization were giving me bad vibes over the phone so i decided to opt out from this particular place. You would think people would get excited by potential volunteers? But it seemed like i was bothering them more than anything else! So now Im looking to volunteer for an association that caters to people with busy schedules in my area- ill give an update once i attend a meeting.
Im so glad I revisted a past love- bc now i finally have the closure i was looking for and have moved on from him. I definitely believe we will become good friends.
I signed up for Princeton Review- did well on my test- now I start school today!!! I never thought it would happen!
I’m currently reading Ovid’s Metamorphesis, it’s complicated, interesting and you need a great memory! I recommend it, if you have an inclination for mythology. And I’m still trying to finish the last two installments of the C.S Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia. Great book even for adults.
At this point, I have filled out an application and have had a phone interview with one of the Administrators for this program. I’ve decided I want to apply for the program emphasizing on infants with AIDs or other fatal illnesses. The director for this program is away on vaca, therefore I’m waiting till next week to contact her. Hopefully I get this, it’s tougher than applying for a job! Well, at least in my experience…
