The idea of moving to Chicago hit me suddenly about 2 years ago. Since that moment random signs calling me to this city have shot at me from all directions. Problem is I´m stuck in Mexico. 3 and a half years ago, I wanted to be stuck in Mexico. Careful what you wish for, haha, just kidding. It´s a beautiful country. Now I´m about to be married to a Mexican which is oh so complicated with all the immigration crap, and now it is up to me to get us to Chicago! My plan is to go to Chicago before him and live with a roommate while finding a job. It doesn´t even matter if I have to wait tables. I enjoy the restaurant business. Any advice about how much money I´ll need to get started is welcomed.
