I live in NY and Canada is 12 hour drive away (to Nova Scotia area). You can choose between scenic routes (slow and longer with amazing views) or highways (faster than in US). So far I’ve explored New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (twice). People are unbelievably hospitable and helpful. B&Bs are better than hotels: very unique, reflect cultural heritage of the visited area, give a chance to meet locals, taste specific to area foods, few times cheaper than hotels. If you travel in summer, definitely book in advance. If you travel in late August you’ll get a chance to taste varies berries finding them in unexpected places. As wild as it seems, Canada is very well organized for tourists: rest stops, tourism centers (they have all the maps you might need), and other small but essential conveniences. Take your time there, as some hikes require at least 9 hours to appreciate them. If you drive through the village, make a rule to taste berry pie or clam chowder. No fancy seafood rest. in NYC comes even close. And dont forget to make few night hikes: if you arfe from a big city and forgot how myriads of stars look like, treat yourself.

Every time I think of Moscow and SP, I think of New York and New Orleans. I always associate Moscow with Russian Spirit, SP with Russian Soul.

I suggest to rent an apartment. It is more private and much cheaper than hotel. Plus, you can cook there. If you want to party and have better dining choices, South Beach is definitely preferable to North Miami Beach (renting a car is not too convinient due to the limited parking) . I stay in the North, when I just want to swim and relax for few days; for those ac-ties, its perfect. Dont forget to visit Everglades and Aquirium!
