I know it’s common sense but I finally found a workout partner and we went running yesterday. It was so amazing how much easier it is to run with someone. We’re doing the Couch to 5K program and started on day one because I was a bit behind her and hadn’t been in forever. It was fun and “almost” effortless. I’m looking forward to run # 2 tomorrow! Who knew.

How I did it: I just finally sucked it up and paid them... It was a matter of calling and making the payment--it helped that I got some tax money and was able to give away the payment without taking too big of a hit to my bank account. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Honestly, it really took me longer than six months and I was only unemployed for about 2 of those months--underemployed for 3 or 4 of them. I sent out resumes to no avail... I only briefly poked around LinkedIn, CareerBuilder and what not. I applied for a temp agency. Finally, i was able to get a couple of interviews out of networking and one from an application I sent in. Out of those interviews I got offered two … Read how I did it…
How I did it: My friends parents took me to yosemite this weekend, I'd never been. I really didn't have to pay for anything so I can't really explain "how" to go about doing it. It's about 4 hours from where I live and we all carpooled, etc. We stayed in a lodge (so I have not really gone camping yet). The place is larger than life. The rocks, the trees, the mountains, the cliffs, the waterfalls, the meadows... all of it.&… Read how I did it…

I finally was able to put $1000 into my “emergency savings.” I’m following David Ramsey’s plan for getting out of debt… The first step is to save 1K for the terrible things that can happen. I feel so relieved (and so skeptical that I’ll be able to not touch it). Cross your fingers for me! This has NEVER happened.
I got a moved to a studio for cheaper rent, got a promotion and raise recently after being underemployed for way too long… Paid off my car (some credit of this has to go to my dad who made a massive payment to help me get caught up before they repossesed it). Also I paid my old comcast debt d my old gas and electric debt! I’m amped and enthusiastic. With my tax money I made paymentt to a good friend who bailed me out of trouble a few months ago. I still owe him quite a bit…and three credit cards… and a couple other personal debts.. but at least I made a huge dent this month and see hope. Thank goodness for hope.. it had been so long since I had seen it.
