How I did it: Been reading and writing all my life, finally in my 20s, I decided to do something concrete. I think what helped was a correspondence course in short story writing that I took through the London School of Journalism. That fine-tuned my approach to writing. Also I was in advertising where the art of precis writing comes into much use. And in college I took some writing classes and literature classes. I wrote regularly, journalling too, and… Read how I did it…
How I did it: The actual act of shaving one's head is easy. Just take a razor or a pair of clippers or go to the barber's. It takes about an hour or so if you do it yourself. But getting down to DOING it .. that takes time. I think I thought about it for about a year before one day I just went and did it. I love the way it feels .. although I didn't like the fully shaved feel (head kept getting caught on pillowcase! LOL) for the past year I've been "bu… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It's easy. Just be blindly in love.He sang - beautifully - Sensitive Kind .. by Santana? Clapton? One of them. But he ended up doing pretty much the opposite of what the song said. So it's just words, really, and all I've learnt from this is not to believe in romantic love, it's a sham. That was 3 years ago and I hope I'll never be such a fool again Read how I did it…

The Passion by Jeanette Winterson – brilliantly and very poetically written, thoroughly enjoyed this.
Animal Planet by Scott Bradfield – discovered this on New Year’s Eve and it started off as one of the most amazing books I thought I would read .. but in the middle it got too human, it was almost as though someone else wrote the middle. The first few chapters and the last ones were really brilliant though. The middle just got all ugly and modern and American and lost the meaningful touch it started off with. Maybe it was supposed to be that way.
Cold Tom by Sally Prue – a bizarre children’s story, well written and very intriguing, the sort of book I wish I’d written :o)
I went through the closet ruthlessly .. most of the clothes that don’t fit me or hat i never wear are GONE. I still have a few drawers and shelves to do, then bags, shoes and accessories.
It feels great and I don’t miss the gone clothes at all, in fact, it’s a joy to open the hanging wardrobe and see clearly what is up there to wear. I have much less clothes but to be honest those were the only clothes I was wearing anyway! Incredibly freeing so I’m keeping on with this and hope to be done by month end! Whee!
