find a job i love
Getting from here to there 15 months ago

There are some people who can go to their day job, put up with eight hours of crap, not even flinch and do it all again the very next day. For many it’s not that they are loving their job, it’s that they don’t care anymore (It’s a job). Then there are those who feel that if they are going to put eight hours (or more) of their life, they may as well as find something that they love to do and they are determined to find it. Finding that perfect job is a dream to many, and a reality to a few.

Finding a job that you love, is a just another goal with a series of steps. If, you have achieved any sort of goal, then you already have part of the battle won. Being able to start, follow through and conclude a goal is needed to succeed in anything. The other half of the battle is going to take time, patience and good knowledge of yourself. No one is going to say, “Poor you, here have a job that you love, please be happy.” Human nature is of the sort that we rarely appreciate anything as much as something we have worked long and hard for. While it feels like you need to change your job NOW, realize that this takes time and patience.

start a revolution
We are more free than what we let ourselves be. 16 months ago

I personally am tired of government officials giving themselves big, fat raises; while there are still hungry and under educated people in our mainstream society.

We work endless hours and we get so little from them in return… if the government were a physical, tangible being, would you gladly do anything for that person who gives so little initiative and steals so much in return? Officials tend to forget that we are the country that they are SERVING, their allegiance belong to the people of a nation, not the financial interests that hold them in place.

be self-sufficient

I was introduced to 43 Things via “Wikinomics – How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything” I am currently exploring self sufficiency in many different areas. The goal of being able to grow most of my own food, and produce my own energy is very appealing. Ha! There are probably 43 things alone I am looking at doing to become self sufficient!
