I’m officially a graduate with a BA (hons) in English. I ended up with a 2:2 that i’m not too dissappointed with, especially as it was pretty touch and go at the end there and i wasnt sure i wanted to carry on let alone manage to get more than a pass or a third at a push.
All i can say to the people with this goal is keep going. If it gets tough and you start to wonder if its worth it then keep pushing anyway, its hard and in my case there were many all nighters cramming for exams or desperately trying to get an essay/dissertation finished that i’d left till the last minute but these days are few and the dissappointment that you’ll feel in yourself if you dont complete it will last forever.

Well I’m currently at the first slog of essays in my final year and it’s a little hard motivating myself and as usual i’ve left it really late but they’ll get done i guess, they normally do.
I’ve found it hard travelling in from uni and my attendance is so bad (overcoming that bad atmosphere has been harder than expected!) but next term I’m going to have to bite the bullet and be in as much as I can what with final exams coming up.
Well we’ve been here about 6 weeks now, think we are finally settled in! The place is nice, really nicely furnished and done up (I love my spotlights:P) At first I thought it was going to be a little small but it’ actully ok and the area is pretty handy. We’re close enough to friends to pop over, close enough to the city centre to walk in and I can get a bus all the way to uni from just around the corner! The hour and a half commute is a bit much as I’m surposed to be in 4 days a week but with my trusty ipod itgoesquickly enough!
