I'm totally finished! 2 years ago

I quit April 15th. I had one smoke when I was not sober about a month ago, and it made me feel like puking. Since then I haven’t had a single craving.

Three months, and going strong. I don’t think there’s much chance of me ever smoking again. It smells so bad now, almost too gross to handle! And when my roommate walks in from having a smoke, the lingering smell on him is unbearably nasty.

SO WORTH IT!



Get off depo provera shot
FINALLY DONE! 2 years ago

Last week was my date for my next depo shot. I finally opted out, and I’m now on the pill, so I can get some estrogen back into my body.
I’m excited about the changes this is going to bring for me! I can’t wait to return to being the person I was before I startedon this!

WOO! 2 years ago

Day 42 now, and going strong.. I now cannot remember what smoking feels like.. I do miss the habit sometimes, but I don’t miss the cigarettes.
It’s amazing what quitting smoking has done for me. I went dancing, and I was able to dance for three hours straight without stopping, or even getting out of breath! I can sing again, I can laugh without choking and coughing, and I can walk up hills without feeling like my lips are turning blue!
The other great thing.. I used to use smoking as an excuse for everything bad (“that’s not good for me, but I smoke, so I’m going to kill myself anyways!”), but now, I am eating better, walking more, I’m an all-around happier person!
