I read Zigzag Street by Nick Earls, which was a good book. It was slice-of-life and was surprisingly interesting despite how little actually happened in the book.

I’ve made a bit of progress. I can play a few simple riffs like Smoke On The Water, One (Metallica), Enter Sandman (the intro), the first bit of Grab The Devil By The Horns (Sum 41) and the first version of the riff in Sweet Child O’ Mine.

I enjoy listening to music and am slowly learning how to play guitar. There’s a lot of good music (although much of it is rare) out there, and I want to listen to it.
