One day 15 months ago

I just woke up. And looked in the mirror and was able to say damn I look amazingly gorgeous. I was able to talk to my friends about how kick ass I was and mean it. Ask a boy I liked out. The only thing that changed was that I realized I’m a mature intelligent person with opinions and interests. And though I’m crazy at times… I like that.

I had him 20 months ago

Finally after months of want him, thinking of him. I got him. I got his smiles, his jokes, his insight on my card play. Even if his Ex was uncomfortable with it, I was fine, I had him. Life was wonderful…

Then he broke up with me. suddenly, fine and wonderful, happy, studying together went from this won’t work, I don’t want to hurt you in 3 hours. And while I got break up pancakes with my best friend sobbing into the syrup, he had her.

I don’t regret any moment with him, I regret talking to him that night, I regret forgiving her, I regret forgiving him. Yet I feel like everything I’m sad over now is about me… not them.

Best Friend's Ex 21 months ago

Two of my best friends just broke up and rumor has it a guy I kinda like I think maybe (he’s great and sweet and I love hanging out with him and dig him) may ask me out.

PROBLEM: his ex, though giving a green light has been known to change signals in a moment. Urk!!
