There are countless articles in the new age health magazines now talking about the benefits of yoga on mental and physical well-being. I own several yoga DVD’s, and I always feel fantastic after I do them….but I use them as a ‘band-aid’ solution when I’m run-down or stressed. It seems likely that if I practiced them regularly that my body would be in better shape to handle ‘life stuff’.



breath deeply as a habit

I have read many times that breathing deeply, from ones stomach, relaxes you. And that shallow breathing has the opposite effect and can aggravate panic attack-type symptoms. And yet, I still haven’t been able to make it a habit.
