How I did it: In seventh grade, we had a poetry unit. I was having a very difficult time that term and wrote a poem in a matter of minutes that I will forever remember. My teacher told us about a poetry contest and I remember being only one of few students to actually have an interest in it. So, without hesitation, I did it. I really don’t think very highly about myself. Even when people tell me things like I’m smart or pretty or something like that. Only when I’m in a positive mood or I hear it from someone who means a lot to me.
I believe that no matter what you do, you should always be happy with it. You wouldn’t be where you are if it wasn’t for what you’ve done in your past or what has been done to you.
