By this, I’m talking home made soap, shampoo, organic cosmetics and food. Use my laundry balls.

I joined a knitting circle at my local library. Lessons will be taking place for five weeks and begin next Tuesday. I’m so excited! I know it’ll take practice, but I already have a list of all the things I want to make—the same goes with sewing. One thing at a time, I guess.
I’ve recently banded with three girlfriends from school to embark on a cross-Canada (with Alaska) trip next summer. We’re still in the planning process, but we’re thinking of going between June and September, driving, and spending a few days in each province. As we have family and friends across the country, we will be alternating between staying with them, hostels and camping. We’re thinking that about $3000.00 each should do us for the trip, but are going to get into more serious planning during this summer.
I very much hope it happens, but each of these ladies is as excited as I am, so hopefully we’ll pull it off. :)
So far, I’ve given up eating out, buying coffee, sold some textbooks and am using a portion of my child-support money each month to save $250/month between now and June.
Should $3000.00 be enough? Thoughts? Also, any advice?
