How I did it: Signed up for the dorms! Making sure my parents signed necessary forms, having them help me move in on the first day, etc. Also, shopping for necessary dorm room items at Target! Having a small vacuum cleaner, Swiffer cloths are handy. If you're going to have people visit your room often, just having cleaning supplies on hand makes things easier. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I took a 1st year Communications class at my university... COMM 150, they call it there. (Which was why it took 4 months) It's a semester long course, and you really learn how to prepare yourself for speeches, how to be open with others, as well as becoming friends with the people in the class. Only a couple more weeks until classes start up again. I’m nervous and excited, mostly anxious…? I still need to sign up for more classes! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to until the 14th… and classes start on the 24th.
