No_Day_But_Today

made out officially for the first time ever today. me and my boyfriend. twice in 30 mins. on the couch laying down. kind of addicting.

Well…..I attend a Catholic highschool in Indiana, and I’m gay. We have a surprising amount of gay at my school considering the religion (somewhere around a dozen out, and another dozen in the closet.) But last week most of us were sent a package in the mail containing a letter and a cd. If you were dating someone they sent you that persons letter to try and out you to your parents if they read it. It basically stereotyped us all as promiscuous, perverted evil doers who need to convert back to hetero, and thats when the cds came in. They were all about conversion and trying to brainwash us. Now the return address was the school’s, but the next day in show choir practice the principle had a meeting with my boyfriend and i about it saying the school had nothing to do with it and this was someone else on the outside. Now, we still know its some teacher or parent inside the school, how else would they have made it look all official (and frankly who else would care.) But it was my first experience dealing with unacceptance towards my homosexuality directly, and I gotta say I felt a little intruded on and pissed. The bulk of the letter was steretyping us like i said, and the majority of us are chaste anyway (more so than over half the heteros at least). So idk…..its just scary to think that someone has such a problem with it they waste all their time just to try and bring us down. But it made this weekend’s pride fest ‘07 just that much better! So, i’m sure i haven’t seen the end of this but…....”we will survive”
