I’m back to this goal. I gave up on it originally, but I believe my health is too important. I never really set any parameters for this goal, which makes it a bit too fuzzy. So I think I’ll clear that up.
Exercise – means at least 15 minutes of either aerobic (walking / running / biking / hiking / climbing, etc.) or anaerobic (muscle building) workout. A brisk walk around the neighborhood – 15 minutes of pushups and situps, a short 1 mile bike ride, 15 minutes in the gym – all of these would count.
Every Day – means every single day. I’m going to try to do this for 6 months straight – If I can do that, I’ll consider it done – but will continue to make it a personal goal.

It’s been a while since I frequented 43things, and much has changed.
What hasn’t changed is my need to lose weight. For the last few years I’ve yo-yo’ed up and down, and am back to where I started – which is not good.
I have three things I plan to do to help me lose this weight for good.
1) Exercise More
2) Eat Better
3) Monitor My Progress
Pretty simple in concept.
I have a gym membership I rarely used. Time to dust it off and put it to use – so I’ll have a new ‘exercise’ goal on 43things when I’m done with this. That should cover the “Exercise More” portion.
In addition, I’m going to write down everything I eat for 1 month. That should be the incentive I need to “Eat Better”. Right now my diet is a mess. Just cleaning up the eating a little should be a big difference.
Finally, “Monitor My Progress” will be done on SparkPeople where I can track my exercise minute, calories, weight loss progress etc.
I’m off to the races!

Meant driving a couple of hours, but I really wanted to see what else was out there. Good information, but I think I have better, and I know I can present it better. It was pretty amateurish, and they still sold 5 seats in their multi-day seminar.
