We declawed our first cat, and have regretted it since. We have3 other cats-kept their claws-no problems, as long as you give them something to scratch on. A couple scratching posts is all it takes, and a spray bottle to train them not to scratch other things. When them declaw, they cut bones—that really sucks. IfI had been told that to begin it, we would have not done the first one.
