I can’t believe the girl who once raided a fountain for quarters to get her fix actually went a day with no coffee. I never thought that would happen.

How I did it: I just got this done. I basically got bored of the light brown/golden blond hair that you see pictured, so did a non permanent dark brown from a bottle. It looked amazing, so when it had almost faded out I went to the hairdresser to get some permanent dark color in my hair in the form of lowlights to keep it natural looking. I didn't like it. I was nearing the end of my brunette phase anyway, but I felt washed out and had that yellowy loo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Bought crest whitestrips. Used them twice a day for ten days and my teeth are amazingly white. Crest whitestrips work for me every time. I have a little sensitivity but nothing major. I have to say though, I have given up coffee - frappuccino's for me only now! I'm not going to undo all the hard work. Read how I did it…
How I did it: When I set this goal I had been through a really rough time and felt like I didn't have anybody in my life that cared very much about me. I was right, but not because I was a bad person. I had surrounded myself with people that turned on me as soon as life wasn't going as well as it could have.I changed a lot of little things - listening more, asking more about people; in essence, genuinely caring. But I've also realized that I'm complete… Read how I did it…

I was intending to use Nov and Dec’s paychecks to go into my savings. I was hoping that nay tutoring I manage to do over the next six months could go into my overdraft so that it was significantly lower by the time I move to L.A. in April.
However, I checked my balance at the ATM the other day and it said I was 2023.00 overdrawn (my overdraft is 2000.00). Wondering how this could be as I’d been so careful, I checked my online statement. The bank had charged me 66.00, putting me into an unplanned OD. It didn’t make any sense, since I’ve been staying below 2000.
So when I went to the bank the next day, they told me that in September, I had been $0.06 (yes, CENTS) overdrawn for three days before I noticed and put money in. I was furious. I kind of calmed down but then yesterday I got a letter saying that as I had gone overdrawn again, to 2023.00, they would be charging me 50.00. That was it. I was livid. Still am. They PUT me in an overdraft! I didn’t even do anything!
So, I am going to pay it off completely with my next two paychecks, take my business elsewhere and close the account. It means that I will have to do as much tutoring as possible in order to save the $10,000 I want to move to L.A with. But hopefully it will motivate me for to find work as a private tutor. Plus, no matter what happens, I will start 2010 debt free, and after the year I’ve had that will be a really great thing.
I can trace my family history back only so far, and then it stops. And I’ve had a professional look into it.
My grandfather can’t remember his mothers name – she left when he was little – and his dad committed suicide, so it’s difficult to ask him about it. In all probability, my family originated in Mallorca, in the Ballearics, and then moved on the Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, and finally to England. But I doubt I’ll ever get this confirmed, so I’ll never really be able to feel like I know who I am 100%, which is sad.
My grandmother is also complicated. I can’t trace her family back very far, although I found some evidence that some family members sailed here from Quebec. But who knows, they could have been returning from a vacation.
