...it becomes a habit. Turns out that being calm while driving can become a habit, like anything else. And that’s what happened here. I’m no longer even really tempted; it’s just that traffic is something that “happens,” and I don’t think about it too much. I think about other things instead. The news I’m listening to (I’m a news junkie), what I’m cooking for dinner, what I want to do with my evening. By the time I get home, I don’t really have any memory of other drivers or situations that would have previously made me mad.

My wife and I both need to lose a LOT of weight. She just got info on Optifast from Kaiser. Two people I work with have been extremely successful on it. As soon as we cxan get through the whole physical exam process, we’ll be on our way. Unfortunately, that takes some time.

Well, I did it. I was tempted a few times to let my blood boil, but I managed to keep control of it. I’m not going to consider this one “done” quite yet, though. I want to see if I’m strong enough to keep it going.
