My goal for 2009 was to “place a few more geocaches” after placing only one in 2008. I’m happy to report that I placed six geocaches, held two geocaching events, and even organized a travel bug race !
I have many more ideas set to go for geocaching puzzles, but little time and money to buy and place the containers. I slowly gather materials as I run across them at good prices and continue to mark good hiding spots on my GPSr as I find them. Hopefully there will be more to come in 2010!

How I did it: Signed up at my company's health & wellness day for a blood drive in December. I signed up for the Double Red but was only able to give one cycle due to a little lightheadedness. I was afraid that might happen, but it may have been due to no lunch before donating. Read how I did it…
How I did it: The first thing I did in order to turn 33 was to be born. After that, I waited for 15 years. After that, I went ahead and waited 18 more years. Voila! And that's how I turned 33. The end. Any questions? Read how I did it…
How I did it: Not only was I part of a flash mob, I organized it! Twice a year, podcacher.com asks people around the world to put on a 15-minute geocaching event that is also a flash mob. Since Syracuse did not have one the last time around, I decided to organize a Syracuse-area WWFM (worldwide flash mob). It only took 15 minutes to perform, but about a month of preparation. For this flash mob, 48 geocachers gathered together at precisely 1:00 (the sam… Read how I did it…

I’m finally in a good routine of drinking plenty of water throughout the day both at work and at home. Even though I’m not doing anything else differently right now, this is helping with my health because I don’t drink soda nearly as much when I’m guzzling the H2O.
The key for me is to have cold water readily available. It’s really tough for me to drink water at room temperature. Additionally, I’ve been taking some supplements that require you drink 8 oz of water, so I usually try and drink at least 20.
After a month of physical therapy, my son was cut from 2 times a week to just once weekly. He was released from going to physical therapy on February 24! It was so good and relieving to see him progressing so well and so quickly. It was also nice to see him doing so much better on the tests than he had just a few weeks before!
