I’m writing a novel that I think I’m going to call Fast Spelling. It’s about a man who let’s his reflection out of the mirror. He runs around as a vampire, because he has lost his reflection who also runs around as a vampire.
There’s another story line that I’m going to try to tie in. It’s about a young man named Tristan and his sister. They find this guy called Turner, and they come across the riddle, “When they find the key that no one can turn, the turner will turn a profit.”
But it’s a spoken riddle, so turner could be Turner, and key could mean anything… and Profit sounds a lot like Prophet doesn’t it? So, what does the riddle mean? You’d have to read in order to find out. The chapter that has this story line in it is called Twister and the Turner.
So far, I’ve only got a couple of chapters written, but I’m working on it. I hope to have 200,000 words written by the end of the month, but it’s not likely to happen.
