So, my kids are really cute, but why, Lord, do they wake up so dang early??? I stay up way too late and then the alarm goes off at 5:30 and I can hardly see straight. I’ve had a tic in my right eye since last Monday which I know is because of lack of sleep and too much stress. I wish it was the other way around – too much sleep and not enough stress. Last night I was up until 11 watching Lost and trying to balance the checkbook. Of course that was a bad combination – I need all of my attention on my checkbook while I’m trying to balance it, because it’s off every month. And, wait, is that Jin in the front of the life raft??? Is it possible he survives???
So, yes, it’s time for my afternoon nap. If anybody has any suggestions for how to go to bed when you aren’t sleepy, I’m all ears. A big part of my problem is, since I have to get up so early, I really should be going to bed around the time I’m getting my second wind, which is 9 or 9:30. Who goes to bed that early, anyway?
