So, most of the time I feel kinda socially awkward. I’m personable and stuff… but lots of the time I don’t have something to say for a situation… or I don’t know how to deal with a specific person… or I get Thought-of-a-Great-Comeback-the-Next-Morning-in-the-Shower Syndrome.

So just once, I’d like to have a night where I’m totally the social alpha center of attention and I know how to handle it. Everything I say will be smooth or funny or otherwise just perfect. And I’ll probably get a date or two to top it off. That would be a plus.

Catch27.com is this stupid website where you make a trading card about yourself (with a profile like on myspace) and then you trade people to make a pack of 27 cards with a theme. The problem is, it’s like impossible to get 27 cards when all of your friends think it’s dumb or have already joined and you don’t spend hours every day cultivating your online persona because you have an actual life and therefore no time to be a faux/wannabe-hipster or -geek or whatever.

These are all unreasonably priced, and with my irrational obsession with buying everything new (except books), this will probably not be possible until I accomplish my other goal to “earn $5,000 in one week”. So… we’ll see.
