How I did it: I took a course at the local beach park. They had multiple boats and very knowledgable instructors. The weather was good, so it was relatively easy to do, but I still have a lot of vocabulary and concepts to learn. I plan on continuing in the rest of the 4 sailing courses they offer. How I did it: In this case it wasn't my dog, but my girlfriend's dogs. They are both great dogs and suprisingly less responsibility than I thought (given she does the feeding and I just love um up). How I did it: I was lucky to find a partner that is likeminded and that I didn't have to sell in a buyers market. Look around and don't compromise too much. If I get the house that we are shopping for then I will be adopting 2 dogs, but one is getting on in years and when its time is up we are getting a greyhound.
