I started reading it six years ago and never managed to finish.

How I did it: I've been a vegan for about nine months now. I had already been a vegetarian for over six years and, after researching the ethics behind veganism, I realised I was perfectly suited to the lifestyle. Having already avoided meat for years, I gave up dairy overnight and haven't looked back since. Read how I did it…
I’ve gone 122 days without lighting up and I feel so proud of myself. I went from over 10-a-day to cold turkey and I haven’t touched a cigarette since. I still have the underlying desire to smoke, but what prevents me from doing so is my stronger desire NOT to smoke, teamed with the disappointment I’d feel if I broke the long chain of smoke-less days. (That goes without saying, my wallet has thanked me. haha)
Take advice from someone who’s been there…I want from complete addict with no desire to quit to completely straight-edge (yep, gave up booze, drugs and caffeine too). If you WANT to quit smoking, you can. The key is that you’ll never do it if you either don’t believe you can, or you deep down don’t actually want to quit.
GOOD LUCK!
