How I did it: I wanted to give blood and know my blood type so I hit two birds with one stone by donating blood. I saw I sign for an upcoming blood drive and decided to go. It wasn't very busy so I got right in. Answered some crazy questions (no, I have not had any perverted sex!) and gave some information about myself to make a profile for the Red Cross. How I did it: Studied up on the candidates, watched the debates, registered to vote ahead of time and spent about 15 minutes at the polls. It wasn't that hard. I am glad I let my voice be heard when I cast my ballot! Read how I did it…

Week of Prayer

My church is having a special week of prayer this week. They had different people in the church sign up to take slots of 30 minutes prayer time so someone in the church would be prayer at any given time. I took the 9:30-10pm time slot. So far so good!
