I want to major in archaeology at Yale—anyone have any good websites for expeditions—preferably for teens and adults alike, not just limited to experience and age above 17. Thanks!

How I did it: I just sat down and read... actually, I read about 5 chapters or until I fell asleep each night. Then I wrote an awsome book review, and my lit teacher was oh so impressed ;) Try it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Stretched, stretched, stretched. Every day, twice a day. You need to really work at it, google some good stretches, and go for it. I promise you will not only feel great health wise, but genuinely feel great about yourself! Read how I did it…
Well, after reviewing my high school corse schedule, it appears as if it will be impossible to meet my goal of fluency in 10 languages by the time I am out of high school. However, I can become fluent in four more not counting English:
Spanish: 1 year to go
German: 3 Years to go
French: Have not started
Mandarin: Only completed a one year course (almost impossible to reach fluency in under 8 years, so this one is iffy)
Russian: Will be hopefully starting this summer. Anyone know how long this will take?
I have always loved Yale and would love more than anything else to get in. I kind of actually despise Gilmore Girls now… just because competition is even higher since Rorie’s acceptance. I am a freshman in high school and am quite worried about my future concerning the Ivy’s. I would die if I didn’t get into Yale, but for the life of me I can’t think of anything I could do to stand out! I know that I should start some program or after school club for like under-privileged children, but I have not the faintest clue as to how I should go about this! I thought I could possibly start a tennis club, for I love tennis, but there really aren’t that many children in my area that are under-privileged, and even if there were, I have no idea as to how I could get anyone to join. I also play the viola, but am not talented so that won’t work, unless I ask a prodigious friend to help… hmm…. Well, if anyone has ANY helpful tips or suggestions, I would love the advice! And for those of you who have been accepted/are currently students of Yale, any advice on your part would be much appreciated! Thanks!
